This course will guide you into a deeper understanding of Nia Technique and its practices lending themselves toward Health, Fitness & Well-Being. You will learn the 13 White Belt Principles – paving a path for body-centered awareness. Beginning with Joy of Movement each principle teaches you a variety of somatic skills for connecting to physical sensation in your body. Nia White Belt teaches you the art of sensation through five core areas of study.

- Science – the study of body awareness, health + vitality
- Music – the study of sound, health + expression

If you want to teach Nia, the Nia White Belt is your first step. You can begin teaching Nia after the White Belt and becoming a livelihood member. The membership gives you a teaching license and materials to learn how to teach the Nia class.

Payment Policy:
The price of the Nia White Belt Training is $1,599 (USD) plus tax where applicable. To reserve your spot in a training, you must pay a registration fee directly to Nia Technique, Inc. (If needed, flexible payment plans are available for the instruction fee.)
LOCATION:
Hosted at Stone Hill Farm, by Nia Black Belt-Somers Collins, on grounds rich with rock and crystal, this 7 day White Belt Intensive is scheduled over the Labor Day weekend. For participants that decide to stay on site – this facility has eight beds available (no extra fee) on a first come first serve basis.
Stone Hill Farm retreat location is convenient to Fayetteville – Little Rock – Hot Springs – Conway – Maumelle, ARKANSAS
COURSE:
The first of Nia’s five levels of Intensive Training, the White Belt, is a week-long course which focuses on embodying body-mind-spirit basics and learning the elegant foundation of Nia. Take the training for personal growth, continue your education by signing up at the conclusion of your White Belt Training to become a Livelihood Member. As a Livelihood Member you have access to ongoing and archived continuing education material and are licensed to teacher Nia classes, Special Events and Workshops.Thousands of people have trained in the Nia Technique, embarking upon a path of personal development and self-discovery, incorporating the body-mind-spirit techniques into their existing fitness, health and wellness practices. Regardless of what brings you to the Intensive Training, Nia Training offers wisdom, knowledge, personal and professional growth, self-empowerment and self-actualization.

Start time during the intensive 8:00 a.m.
Finish time each day: 6:00 p.m.
MEALS:
Participants provide own meals. We’ll have full use of the kitchen plus there is all manner of dining and grocery located within 10 minutes of the training facility.
BRING:
Several changes of comfortable clothing as we’ll be moving (read: sweating) some each day and you’ll want to be comfortable.
Water or sports drink to stay hydrated
EXPECT:
A cognitive and somatic learning experience using PPT: powerpoint presentations, small-group learning, daily Nia dance classes, experiential movement sessions, guided learning sessions.
