“Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted.” John Lennon
Thinking about Self-Care works too! Whether acting upon daily self-care intentions or bringing them to the forefront of my consciousness, my day is influenced. With my life already enhanced to a degree, I believe that my future will be affected as I lean more and more toward thoughts, choices & actions of self-care. Thank you for your perspective “G.”
Self-Care: TIME
Daily choice/action: Schedule a sacred date with yourself ~ You deserve time for your life.

Nia Move: Slow Clock
Daily practice: Begin marching in place as though you are in the center of an imaginary clock painted on the floor. Stepping your left foot forward as though to 12:00 then bring it back to the center of the clock then step to another number on the clock then back to center. “Slow” clock refers to always returning to center after stepping to any number on the clock. Practicing Slow Clock teaches you to sense moving form center as you monitor relaxation in your body.

Taking time to let the words of John Lennon sink in …. “Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted.” Truth Telling – I have many thoughts that aren’t SELF-CARING thoughts around my personal productivity. As a start – Tonight, I am enjoying playing at my computer-period. It feels good to leave off devaluing mental chatter! Tonight, I am enjoying working at my computer. (Insert BIG smile right here!)
To your continued relationship development with self-care choices and actions. Julie
