Nia Move: Catching Flies
Daily practice: Pretend you are catching fire-flies with your hands as they flit about the room. Follow them before darting your hand out to catch them. Lead your movement with your eyes, to integrate your hand to your head. Use both hands. Imagine you’re catching ideas, dreams, thoughts. Practicing Catching Flies increases brain activity. This move engenders manual dexterity and speed. Use the move to emotionally express aggression, determination, anger, frustration, playfulness, achievement.
